you say goodbye, and i say hello

i've been trying to sell my rebel t1i for a few months now. it was my bday present last year from my husband, and such a great starter camera... i absolutely loved learning from it, and was really pleased with the images i was making.

but i realized if i wanted to get further into photography as a profession, i needed to upgrade.

so i cleaned her up, packed her way, and after a few months of sitting around on craigslist, i finally found her a new home yesterday.

it was bittersweet - i was sad to see her go, but was really happy for the guy taking her home.

he said he'd been reading about them for months, researching and studying. he said he'd never actually held one in his hands until yesterday when i handed her over. i totally remember that feeling... so i was really happy for him.

bye, friend...

now say hello to my new little friend... and her big friend....
