pelton & crane

the other week, i was contacted to photograph equipment and showroom operatories for pelton & crane, a company which has manufactured dental equipment since 1900. 

it was a neat experience... i felt a little out of my comfort zone, as i consider myself a family and children's photographer, but it was fun to do something different, and to play around with camera settings i might not normally use at a portrait shoot. 

there will be an upcoming post on the more current equipment pelton & crane manufactures, but i really wanted to show you these vintage machines that were displayed in the lobby of the new showroom and conference center. i don't know the names of any of the machines, but i just thought it was cool to see how far we've come in 110 years...
