the hoover families

i got together with the 2 hoover families last week on a very windy and cold afternoon. they wanted to have images to use as christmas gifts for the grandparents - so we needed to get a few shots of each family, then some of everyone together, and then get a few of just the grandkids. 

so i arrived at our location in plenty of time to come up with some fun ways to do the shoot... unfortunately, the weather was not my friend that day - our time outside was very short, given how frigid it was. 

but i did manage to get hoover family #1 to hang out for a few minutes in the nice light...

we headed back to the house to get the kiddies photographed, since they were more comfy inside where it was nice and warm.

the older 2 are absolutely smitten with their new baby cousin. :)
