ellie: part 1

i met ellie for the first time last fall, when she was just a few months old, and i immediately fell in love with her true blue eyes and deliciously dark hair. 

as you can imagine, i was thrilled to see her again this past weekend for a milestone session, and to also have the chance to photograph the rest of her family! aunts, cousins, and grandparents were all in town for a visit, and it was so fun to see everyone doting over their sweet ellie. 

i walked away with a memory card full of images of this lovely family, so i decided to do 2 posts. today is all about ellie and her cute parents! 

there are a few things about these images that make me swoon - the tutu, the headband that her mom made (in honor of the royal wedding), those unbelievably cute cheeks that frame ellie's tiny mouth... and in this first shot, the way she looks like a little plant that's just bloomed.
