we prayed, and we prayed, and we kept praying to hear the news...
finally, the day came when they announced they were expecting - and we wept and thanked God, and then wept some more.

we counted down the months and then the weeks for their baby girl to arrive, and couldn't wait to meet her - this precious little gift we'd all been hoping and waiting for for so long.

i guess she'd had enough of waiting too, because she arrived a week early... it was a perfect surprise.
