shoes!!

my friend just recently opened up an online kids clothing boutique called kersnickety clothing, and i couldn't be more excited!

first, i think it's so wonderful that this gal is starting her own business - she's smart, hilarious, and the business world needs more people like her.

second, i get to photograph her inventory. :)

she dropped off a box of clothes and shoes the other day, and i had so much fun letting my creative juices flow... my favorite part was deciding what to do with all the shoes, and how i wanted to photograph them. 

i knew i wanted to get outside with them, but wasn't quite sure how i wanted to display them. i put them by our fence, nestled them in a planter, perched them along the wood pile... but nothing was really doing it for me. 

then i remembered my rusty old tricycle in the garage...
