client gifts: newborn sessions

'tis the season for newborn portrait shoots (or at least it is around here... it seems everyone i know is having babies these days)!

so i thought i'd put together a little client gift package for a couple of upcoming newborn sessions, to let the parents know just how excited i am to be photographing their sweet little babies.

the basket can be used for diapers, baby products, or toys, and inside the basket is one of my favorite books by karen katz (her illustrations are so fun). there's also a little toy just right for newborns, as well as a thank-you note from me that includes a free print voucher!

for anyone who may be considering having portraits made for a newborn, i would highly encourage you to do so. it's crazy how quickly a baby changes in the first week, and by the end of 2 weeks, you can barely recognize what was once a fresh, wrinkly little nugget of a baby. don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good thing that babies grow so quickly - i mean, who wants to deal with round-the-clock feedings forever? - but it's so easy to forget what they're like when they first arrive.

at least it was for this sleep-deprived mom.
