this little baby

is as soft as cotton.

he is quiet as a mouse

when he's not hungry. 

and his hair is like 

the downy feathers 

of a baby duck. 

he is my friends' baby,

and this past sunday, 

we got to spend the afternoon together,

oooh-ing and aahhh-ing

at their 6-day-old little man.
