my sunny little valentines

a few days ago, we took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and spent an afternoon making valentine's cards for lucy's and corbin's classmates at preschool. 

they took turns peeling off stickers and placing them ever-so-precisely onto their cards... she meticulously wrote her name in each of her cards (which, just so you know, completely blows me away - how can she already write her name?? didn't we just bring her home from the hospital, like, the other day?!?)... he insisted on doing everything all by himself - and i let him. and he absolutely loved it.

it was the perfect way to spend a sunny, february afternoon.
